Kevin John Wasserman (born February 4, 1963) is the lead guitarist of the California punk rock band The Offspring. Along with their singer Dexter Holland (who also plays guitar) and bassist Greg K., Noodles is one of the constant members of the band and has appeared on all of their albums. The nickname Noodles reportedly came from his constant noodling on the guitar.

Noodles was born in Los Angeles, California. Prior to joining The Offspring, Noodles reportedly had a band called Clowns of Death. In 1985, he joined Manic Subsidal as their guitarist. He was reportedly asked to join because of the fact that he was old enough to purchase alcohol for Dexter and Greg, both of whom were under the legal drinking age at the time. In 1986, Manic Subsidal changed their name to The Offspring, who have since released nine full-length albums, four EPs, three compilation albums, three videos, one demo, one box set and twenty-five singles.

Personal life[]

At one of the band's Ignition shows, Noodles was stabbed in the shoulder by a skinhead. During the band's early days he worked as a janitor at Earl Warren Elementary School in Garden Grove. Before Smash was released, he had planned to quit before the end of the school year, but the surprising success of "Come Out and Play" forced him to reconsider.

While not touring or recording with The Offspring, Noodles occasionally goes snowmobiling and snowboarding in the mountains. He also stated in the Huck It DVD that he likes the "finer things in life" like red wine, classical music, cigarettes, and poetry.

He and his wife Jackie are the parents of a daughter/step-daughter, Chelsea Nicole Wasserman, who was born on December 6, 1989. He also has another kid, this time a boy, in 2002.
